Hatha Yoga North Shore

Tuesday & Thursday 9.15 - 10.30am

Begin your day with attention to your body, awareness of breath and intention for your mind and heart moving with gratitude in a new day ahead.

Each class is 75 min. The first 45 min are more yang, energising and activating. The last 30 min more yin, focussed on deep relaxation through restorative yoga poses or Yoga Nidra.

Suitable for all levels, beginners as well as experienced yogis who are wanting more a gentle morning stretch.

The classes are shared over an 8 week course block, but can also be attended with a casual pass or concession card.

The morning Hatha classes cover:
 

  • Winter inspired yoga practices

  • Guided asanas (postures) 

  • Surya Namaskar (sun salutations)

  • Safe alignment and use of props

  • Pranayama (breathing techniques)

  • Relaxation tools, like Yoga Nidra

You can sign up for 1x or 2x a week.

Yoga mats and props are provided for and sustainable made.
